Members of the Waghri and Sikligar tribes live in Western India in abject poverty. Most of them are illiterate, and since they do not have any marketable skills, they make their living either by selling scrap and old clothes, or by begging. Entire families often go hungry for days on end, because they are not able to make any money.
AIC, a SeeYourImpact partner, conducts tailoring classes for women from these communities. After completing the course, the women earn up to $75 per month, either by finding employment as tailors, or by setting up their own businesses.
Your donation of $60 will support the full tuition for a woman as well as the cost of fabric and supplies used during the course.

Support a year of parenting classes for a mother in India
Studies have shown that developmental milestones are delayed in children born into poverty and to uneducated mothers.
AIC, a SeeYourImpact partner, provides weekly parenting classes that help expectant and new mothers build skills in critical areas of infant and toddler care, including health and hygiene, nutrition, and the role of play in stimulating brain development.
Your donation of $ 48 will cover the cost of supplies and educational materials, specialist speakers, a nutritious snack during the session, childcare expenses during the session and in-kind incentives (baby and toddler nutritional supplements, toiletries, etc) for participation for an entire year.
